Dumb-Bell Cutlery: Shed that holiday weight while you eat

It’s no surprise that people gain weight during the holidays. When your co-worker asks if you want another helping of casserole, then another piece of pumpkin pie at the office holiday party, you automatically say yes. It’s the holidays.

So the folks at TheCheeky.com have found a tongue-in-cheek way to help you lose weight. All you have to do is use its Dumb-Bell Cutlery, otherwise known as a fork and knife attached to dumbbells.

“A must for people actively looking to lose weight but not prepared to stop eating,†writes TheCheeky.com. “This is going to revolutionize the diet industry and that is why they are so damn expensive (and they are hand made).â€

The knife and fork each weigh 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds), and the dessert spoon weighs double. Because you’ll need to burn more calories while eating pie.

The entire set is $145 at TheCheeky.com.

So if you use the dumbbell fork to eat a salad with ranch dressing, but lift the dumbbell knife in your other hand, and use your thigh to lift the dessert spoon, are you really taking in any calories? This is starting to hurt my head. Someone pass the pie please, and a plastic spoon.
