Where will you be ringing in 2014? Here’s our guide to what’s happening around town New Year’s Eve and where you can recover the day after.

Allumette is having a retro redux New Year’s with a menu inspired by 60s grand continental cuisine. Dishes include oyster Radonsky, blue prawn cocktail, Rabbit loin Oscar and devil’s food cake with beverage pairings by Serena Herrick. Dinner is $90 and an additional $50 for the beverage pairings. A.O.C. will have a Noche Vieja – or Spanish New Year’s Eve. The Bazaar by José Andrés will have a “Spanish Masquerade†for New Year’s Eve with multiple dining areas and tray-passed tapas from 8 to 11 p.m. Cava, wine and specialty cocktails will be available. Chaya locations in Beverly Hills, downtown and Venice will all have special New Year’s Eve events. In Beverly Hills, a “Mascarade de la Pavan†with live music from the JSH Quartet and a tasting menu. The first seating, with select classics from the a la carte menu, is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The second seating, from 8:30 to 10 p.m., will include a four-course prix-fixe tasting menu, a Pavan cocktail bar menu and a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight for $130 per person. In downtown, a “Monte Carlo†party with a live performance by the Jimmy C Martini Lounge Trio, a roulette table and prizes. There is one open seating with a four-course prix-fixe tasting menu for $85 per person or select classics from the regular menu. The Federal Bar is having a private New Year’s Eve party with a DJ, dancing and dinner. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar will have a three-course prix-fixe menu for New Year’s Eve at all locations during normal dinner hours.
