The day after Peaches Geldof’s death, authorities are searching in and around the house where the model, writer and socialite was found, with an autopsy scheduled for Wednesday.

After the autopsy, the coroner will open an investigation and decide whether an inquest -- such as that into the death of singer Amy Winehouse -- is merited, according to the U.K.’s Mirror.

No evidence of drugs was found at the home near London where the 25-year-old was found Monday, the paper said, and friends insisted the mother of two tots wasn’t using anything. Officials said there was no sign of injury and no suicide note.

The death is currently being treated “nonsuspicious†but “sudden and unexplained,†the BBC said.

“She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us,†he said in the statement. “Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh.

“What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever.

“How sad that sentence is,†the former Boomtown Rats frontman continued.†Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.â€

“Tom†refers to Peaches’ husband, Tom Cohen. The couple’s children are nearly 2 and nearly 1 year old, both with birthdays this month.

“Poor sweet Peaches Geldof,†wrote ‘80s icon Boy George, onetime frontman for Culture Club. “We spoke only a month ago and she looked like an angel. This is truly sad. Poor Bob! R.I.P.â€

Simon Cowell wrote, “So sad to hear about Peaches. Rest in peace. The few times I met Peaches she was a sweet, funny warm person. Much love to her family she has left behind.â€

“RIP Peaches Geldof too young to lose your beautiful soul,†model Naomi Campbell tweeted, finishing with prayer emojis.

Before her death, Geldof herself -- in an interview with Mother & Baby magazine, where she was to be a columnist -- reflected on her life as a mom. Her mother, Paula Yates, overdosed on heroin when Peaches was 11.

“Since I’ve had the boys, I don’t think of the world as a negative place any more,†the onetime socialite and party girl told the magazine. “I just have so much love. And, through my love for them, I’ve been reborn into a better, more understanding, more patient person -- I feel like an adult.â€
