Kate Upton lands Sports Illustrated weekly cover, goes to Paris
Kate Upton has landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated again, but this time she’s not wearing a swimsuit -- she’s wearing a baseball jersey.
Well, what did you think she was wearing?
The 21-year-old supermodel joins baseball brothers B.J. and Justin Upton -- no relation to her -- on the October cover to kick off the magazine’s postseason preview. It’s the swimsuit model’s third cover for the mag, but the first time she’s appeared on Sports Illustrated’s weekly cover. See the cover and photos here.

“This shoot is so much fun. Honestly, shooting with anybody in the Sports Illustrated family is a lot of fun for me because I know everybody and I love everybody here. And we’re dancing and enjoying a little baseball, and I get a jersey,†she laughed.
Upton is flanked by the two players on the cover and they’re all uniformed in Atlanta Braves gear. The shoot took place last month at Citi Field in New York when the Braves were in town to play the Mets, the mag said.
The Michigan native and the other Uptons “got along famously, joking throughout the shoot that they were long-lost cousins,†the mag said.
Earlier this week, the supermodel was spotted in Paris for Fashion Week sans makeup during a workout, E! reported. The images exposed a bunch of blemishes but the voluptuous model was still her bubbly self. She also sat in the front row of the Chanel presentation and made her Paris Fashion Week debut during Marc Jacobs’ final show for Louis Vuitton.

The model, whose curves have primarily excluded her from the high-fashion sphere, appeared in the Wednesday show at the Louvre museum straddling a black horse on a moving carousel. The recently named Model of the Year wore lacy tights, a midriff exposing black blouse and an elaborate feathered headpiece in line with the presentation’s showgirl theme.
In other Upton news, the supermodel has been spotted holding hands with former “Dancing With the Stars†bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 33, People reported. Despite months of rumors (and shutting them down several times), their public display of affection in New York’s West Village last Thursday has everyone thinking they’re finally official.
