Audio slide show: In Haiti, searching for signs of life
A New York City search-and-rescue team is called to a Port-au-Prince neighborhood with a report of sounds coming from the home of a missing 2-year-old. They search the ruins of the home and find no signs of life or death. The mother, Sherly Pierre Louis, is comforted by friend Gasmin Toussaint as they await word of her daughter Ann Christene, who hasn’t been seen since the 7.0 quake last week.
