‘America’s Got Talent’ winner Paul Zerdin lands a show in Las Vegas
Reporting from Las Vegas — Fans of “America’s Got Talent†can see Season 10 winner Paul Zerdin perform live at the PH Showroom at the Planet Hollywood Resort on Thursday, Oct. 22, Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24.
The British ventriloquist won his turn starring in a show on the Las Vegas Strip along with $1 million, the grand prizes in the competition.
As a 10-year-old in London, Zerdin put on shows with a puppet theater built by a family friend. Later, a book on ventriloquism written by Ray Alan inspired him to go from hobbyist to professional. Zerdin brought his show to Royal Variety Performances and comedy festivals worldwide.
“America’s Got Talent†Season 10 finalists Drew Lynch and Piff the Magic Dragon join Zerdin on stage.
Lynch moved to Los Angeles from Indiana when he was 19, but when he was hit in the throat by a softball, ending his dreams of a career in television and film, he turned to comedy full time.
Magician Piff, who starred in “Vegas Nocturne†when it was at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, performs with his dog Mr. Piffles, “the world’s first magic-performing Chihuahua.†The pair have shared the stage at Shakespeare’s Globe, the Sydney Opera House, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Soho Theatre in London’s West End.
Tickets start at $49.
