Italy: Ski trip to Dolomites mixes schuss with holiday sparkle
Hit the slopes and rev up your holiday spirit in December on this weeklong skiing and Christmas market tour of Italy’s Dolomite Mountains.
Spend the first three days visiting the villages of Bolzano and Bressanone where kiosks spring up with holiday lights, decorations and traditional southern Tyrol foods. After touring the Christmas markets, it’s on to skiing. Participants stay in Alta Badia and ski a different route every day at various Dolomiti Superski resorts. All levels of skiers are welcome, from beginners to experienced off-piste skiers.
When: Seven-night tours depart from Dec. 2 to 22.
Price: $3,435 a person, based on a minimum group of four. It includes hotel stays in Bolzano and Alta Badia, ski guide, muilti-day ski resort pass, daily breakfast and four dinners. International airfare is not included.
