THE BEST WAY TO OXFORD, MISS.

From LAX, Delta offers nonstop service to Memphis, Tenn., about 75 miles north of Oxford, and connecting service is offered on Continental, American, Delta, AirTran and United. Restricted round-trip fares begin at $420.

Old Venice Pizza Co., (662) 236-6872, 1112 Van Buren Ave.; https://www.oldvenice.com, occupies the site of the former Devoe’s Gathright-Reed Drug Co., the drugstore where William Faulkner borrowed books (it had a lending library) as a child.
