Presidio San Agustín del Tucson, grand opening, starting at 9 a.m. May 19 at Church Avenue and Washington Street, Tucson; (520) 885-9009, www.rionuevotucson.com. The interpretive center is christened with a public ceremony and an all-day street fair, historic reenactments, live music and activities for the kids.
