In California, recommended stops include the well-known Zuni Cafe, Trestle and Bar Crudo in San Francisco; Laili, with its mix of Mediterranean and Afghan flavors, and La Posta in Santa Cruz; and Juniper & Ivy in San Diego, which claims to have refined “Left Coast†cooking.
And for Las Vegas? Alize in the Palms Casino Resort, Bazaar Meat in the SLS Las Vegas and Pizza Rock get a big thumbs up.
