Cruise Vancouver Island and get a free hotel stay or domestic flight

Canadian-based Maple Leaf Adventures adds a free hotel stay or domestic flight to selected cruises of Vancouver Island’s rugged northwest coast aboard its newest small ship.
The deal: The Cascadia is a 138-foot catamaran with just 12 cabins that will sail to the less well-known part of the island, including the Brooks Peninsula and Kyoquot Sound, to see whales, bear, sea otters and other wildlife.
The free perk — a night at the Kwalilas Hotel or an internal flight to the trip’s starting point at Port Hardy -- applies to July 14-20 and July 21-27 sailings. Cost is $4,580 per person, double occupancy.
When: Book by Feb. 28, based on availability.
Details: Maple Leaf runs trips that accent conservation and cultural heritage, operating in more remote parts of Canada that are were once threatened or need protection.
