Las Vegas: On New Year’s Eve, $1-million bottle service at the Wynn
If cheap bubbly just won’t do on New Year’s Eve, at the Wynn Las Vegas you can always have a $1-million toast.
We’re not kidding. XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas will live up to its name (excess) by offering one well-heeled partyer the chance to ring in 2014 with an 18-bottle collection priced at $1 million.
The package, touted as the priciest bottle service ever offered, provides the buyer the opportunity for a multitude of toasts with selections from the Armand de Brignac Empire Collection. The bottles range from the standard 750 milliliter to a 30-liter whopper of sparkling rosé. It is hand-painted by graffiti artist Alec Monopoly and appropriately features the “Uncle Moneybags†character from the Monopoly board game.
The first 30-liter bottle was purchased at XS on New Year’s Eve three years ago. It was priced at $100,000.
If no one buys the collection on Dec. 31, it will continue to be offered for sale at the nightclub in 2014. The buyer will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Champagne maker’s maison in Chigny-les-Roses, France. A tour of the private cellars and a meeting with the winemaker are included.
