Deal: Kids can learn about animals for $40 at a half-day zoology camp
You can nurture your child’s inner zoologist and save 50% doing so with a Living Social deal for a camp about 100 miles south of Los Angeles that will teach a budding generation about the study of animals.
The deal: Wild Wonders, a wildlife education organization, offers a Junior Zoologist Camp for kids 6-13, at its 5-acre facility in Bonsall, Calif., in north San Diego County. The 9 a.m.-1 p.m. camp is led by professionals, including biologists, and allows kids to interact with exotic creatures, which were not removed from their native habitat but come to Wild Wonders from other facilities or sometimes when owners can no longer care for them (or are no longer allowed to have them). The cost of the camp is usually $80 a child, but a Living Social coupon gives half off. The discount is good through Sept. 26. Limit one to a family and subject to availability.
