OpenTable selects 100 scenic restaurants that are all about the views

Just in time for that end-of-summer road trip: Online restaurant reservation site OpenTable came up with a list of the100 most scenic places to dine in the U.S. The selections are based on millions of reader reviews posted on the website.

California came out on top with 24 inspiring places to dine, from Duke’s Malibu restaurant and bar overlooking the Pacific to the hilltop Restaurant at the Getty Center.

The list includes restaurants in 34 states including Washington state (10) and Florida (7).

And New York? The Loeb Boathouse Central Park, the rooftop Rainbow Room, River Cafe in Brooklyn and X20 Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers were the only four deemed to have the right stuff.
