Ojai resort adds new pool and a sunglass concierge

Just in time for summer: The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa has rolled out a new adults-only pool at the storied resort northwest of L.A.
The inn‘s new Indigo Pool & Bar (which it calls “a luxury outdoor adult oasis”) is the fourth on the property, which includes two spa pools and one family pool.
The Indigo Pool and its Jacuzzi are surrounded by 10 cabanas with canopy beds and double chaise lounges. Prices start at $150 weekdays and $200 on weekends to rent a cabana.
And there’s another service that comes with the new pool: a sunglass concierge “dedicated to cleaning, tightening and caring for” your shades. If you find yourself suddenly in need of a pair, you can shop pool-side at a pop-up Oliver Peoples eyeglass store.
Other upgrades at the property include reimagined dining with a new restaurant that officially opens Aug. 3. Olivella+Vine is described as Ojai Valley-to-table fresh with an Italian influence. It replaces the former restaurant Maravilla.
The Wallace Neff Lounge, built by the architect in 1923 when the inn opened, was deemed an Ojai historic landmark in 2006. A courtyard and new bar area have been added.
Upcoming changes include a redo of the lobby, adding tablets to check-in to the inn, and a new entrance at the inn’s gate.
