Deirdre Edgar
Deirdre Edgar is the Los Angeles Times’ former readers’ representative. From January 2010 to May 2018, she had the privilege of hearing directly from readers about questions of accuracy and fairness in Times coverage. Edgar is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and joined The Times in 1999 as an editor. She is a member of the Organization of News Ombudsmen and a lifetime member of the American Copy Editors Society.
