There’s no off-season for USC freshman Adoree’ Jackson.
The two-way, multipurpose standout has begun track and field practice.
Jackson will compete for the Trojans in the long jump and sprints.
At Gardena Serra High, Jackson had bests of 25-feet 5 1/4-inches in the long jump, 10.68 seconds in the 100-meter event and 21.59 in the 200.
Jackson demonstrated his speed during the football season. He returned kickoffs 98 and 100 yards for touchdowns, turned a short pass reception into a 71-yard touchdown pass play and broke up ten passes as a cornerback.
Former Serra and USC receiver Marqise Lee competed in the long jump at USC.
