USC tailback Justin Davis said last season’s 14-10 loss at Notre Dame was “one of the worst moments of my life.â€
Davis rushed for 12 yards in two carries before he suffered a season-ending ankle injury.
“I’ll remember it until I die,†he said. “That makes me want to go in there and get revenge.â€
Davis rushed for 37 yards in nine carries and caught a career-best four passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in last Saturday’s 38-20 loss to UCLA.
Davis said coaches told him before the game to “get ready†for more touches.
“I embraced the role,†he said.
