USC catcher Garrett Stubbs was voted defensive player of the year, and Trojans infielder Dante Flores and outfielders Bobby Stahel and Timmy Robinson were voted to the Pac-12 all-conference team by league coaches, the conference announced Wednesday.

Stubbs, a senior from Del Mar, has thrown out 54% of runners attempting to steal bases and is batting .330 for the Trojans, who open play in the NCAA tournament Friday against Virginia at the Diamond in Lake Elsinore.

Stubbs was among 32 players voted first-team all-conference.

Flores, a senior from Norwalk, is batting .315 with five home runs and 41 runs batted in.

Stahel, a junior from Needles, is batting a team-best .379 with four homers and 31 RBIs.

Robinson, a junior from Huntington Beach, is batting .298 with a team-best 50 RBIs.
