USC returns to Associated Press media poll at No. 22

USC’s victory over Arizona moved the Trojans back into the Associated Press media poll on Sunday at No. 22.
USC defeated previously unbeaten and 10th-ranked Arizona, 28-26, Saturday night at Arizona Stadium to improve to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the Pac-12 Conference.
The Trojans had dropped out of the poll after last week’s 38-34 defeat by Arizona State on a last-second Hail Mary touchdown pass.
Mississippi State is ranked No. 1, followed by Florida State, Mississippi, Baylor and Notre Dame.
Arizona dropped to No. 16.
USC plays Colorado at the Coliseum on Saturday.
