Colorado’s 59-56 victory over Stanford on Wednesday night was felt in Westwood.

The Cardinal loss made UCLA the second-seeded team in next week’s Pac-12 tournament. The Bruins have two games left and have a two-game lead in the loss column over Colorado and Arizona State. UCLA holds the tie-breakers over both teams.

The Bruins will open the Pac-12 tournament on March 13 Thursday at 6 p.m. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. They will face the winner of the first-round game between the seventh- and 10th- seeded teams.

Oregon State is assured of being 10th. The seventh-seeded team won’t be known until after this weekend’s game. The Pac-12 has seven teams within one game of each other in the loss column.

If the Bruins advance to the semifinals, they will play at 8:40 p.m. on March 14.
