K.J. Choi, Greg Chalmers hit rare, consecutive aces at Barclays
A rare feat occurred on the beautiful wind-swept greens of Liberty National Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.
K.J. Choi and Greg Chalmers hit consecutive holes-in-one on the 135-yard, par-three 14th hole during the third round of the Barclays. It was Choi’s second PGA ace and first since 2001.
Choi sank his first and Chalmers matched the accomplishment about 20 minutes later in the next group. Chalmers is the only player on the PGA Tour with two holes-in-one this season.
Despite the aces, both Choi and Chalmers are well back of the leaders as they continue to make their way through the third round.
