The Clippers have won six games in a row and are in fourth place in the extremely competitive Western Conference. They are tied for the third-best record in the West at 32-14.

The Clippers will play the Pelicans on their second stop of an eight-game road trip. The Pelicans (24-22) are in ninth place in the West, eight games behind the Clippers.

Pelicans’ All-Star power forward Anthony Davis is listed as a game-time decision for Friday’s game after suffering a Grade 1 groin strain Wednesday. Davis is averaging 24.5 points and 10.4 rebounds a game.
