Update: This will be the only regular-season game between Chivas USA and Philadelphia. The Union won the teams’ sole meeting in 2013, 3-1, in Philadelphia. This season both clubs are struggling. Chivas USA is coming off a 2-0 loss to the Portland Timbers at StubHub Center on Wednesday, while the Union was soundly beaten by the Galaxy, 4-1, last Sunday. Philadelphia has allowed nine goals in its last two games. Forward Erick Torres leads Chivas USA in scoring with eight goals and midfielder Mauro Rosales leads the team in assists with four.
