Ezekiel Elliott has been accused of domestic violence by a woman who said she is the former live-in girlfriend of the Dallas Cowboys rookie running back, according to a multiple media accounts of a police report filed Friday morning in Columbus, Ohio.

The woman told police the alleged assault took place while she was in the driver’s seat of her parked car.

Elliott, the No. 4 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft out of Ohio State, told police he did not assault the woman and he never lived with her.  Four witnesses — including one who was sitting in the car at the time the alleged incident occurred — told police they did not see an assault.

Elliott was not arrested, but his accuser was referred to the prosecutor’s office if she wants to further pursue the matter.

While the woman’s name was not released by authorities, Tiffany Thompson, who has been romantically linked to Elliott, posted photos Friday morning on Instagram of bruises she claims she received as a result of domestic violence. The second of the two posts was directed to Elliott’s Instagram handle.

“This has been happening to me for months and it finally got out of control to where I was picked up and thrown across the room by my arms,†she wrote. “Thrown into walls. Being choked to where I have to gasp for breath. Bruised everywhere, mentally and physically abused.â€

The photos appear to show bruises on her neck, leg, arm and hand. Thompson’s Instagram account has since been made private.
