Darius Morris has bruised left wrist, listed as day to day
The Lakers have categorized Darius Morris’s injured left wrist that he suffered in a D-Fenders game on Saturday as “bruised,†and are listing him as day to day.
Morris attended the D-Fenders’ game Monday against Idaho and participated in warmups. But he remained on the bench while wearing a brace to support his wrist. Morris was then examined Tuesday by Dr. Stevan Shin of the Kerlan Jobe-Orthopedic Clinic.
After averaging 2.7 points and 1.1 assists in 10.3 minutes through 13 games with the Lakers, Morris posted 21 points on 43% shooting and four assists in 28 minutes in the D-Fenders’ 99-98 win Saturday over the Dakota Wizards. D-Fenders Coach Eric Musselman said he remained impressed with Morris’ playmaking abilities and his positive attitude but noted that he’s still learning the team’s plays and catching up on his conditioning.
