Update: The Lakers haven’t played New Orleans since a four-day November span in which they lost to the Pelicans by 11 and then beat them by 21. In the first game, Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis had 32 points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots against Pau Gasol. New Orleans lost Monday night at Sacramento, its eighth consecutive defeat.
