Justin Blackmon is scheduled to go before a judge Monday afternoon after being arrested on an aggravated DUI charge early Sunday morning in Oklahoma, according to the Payne County sheriff’s department.

A Breathalyzer test showed the first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in April’s draft had a blood alcohol level of .24 -- three times the legal limit -- at the time of his arrest, authorities say. A driver in Oklahoma can be charged with aggravated DUI after blowing a .15 or greater.

Blackmon was released from jail Sunday afternoon on $1,000 bond. He did not have an attorney listed in jail records.

A spokesman for the Jaguars, who drafted the star receiver from Oklahoma State fifth overall, said the team was looking into the incident and had no further comment.

Blackmon, who was reportedly going 60 mph in a 35-mph zone and driving left of center when a police officer tried to pull him over, drove about four blocks before stopping in a gas station parking lot, Stillwater police spokesman Capt. Randy Dickerson said.

“He was unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and his eyes were glassy and bloodshot,†Dickerson said in a statement. “He admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving.â€
