Wrestling: Four straight City Section titles for Birmingham’s Lakiyah Wagoner

Don’t mess with Birmingham’s Lakiyah Wagoner, the best female heavyweight wrestler in California and the nation.

She won her fourth consecutive City Section championship on Saturday and now moves on to the state championships this weekend in Visalia.

Birmingham won the girls’ team title over San Fernando.

In the boys’ division, El Camino Real won the title over second-place Birmingham. The boys’ state championships are March 4-5 in Bakersfield.
