Volleyball: L.A. Cathedral wins its third consecutive championship

Alejandro Albarran contributed 21 kills to help L.A. Cathedral wins its fourth consecutive Southern Section Division 4 volleyball championship on Saturday with a 25-18, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22 victory over Bishop Montgomery at Cerritos College.
Steven Sosa added nine kills and Tristan Hom eight.
In Division 3, South Pasadena defeated Gahr, 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.
In Division 2, Esperanza defeated Laguna Beach, 25-23, 19-25, 27-25, 18-25, 15-9.
