Volleyball: It’s gold medals for four beach players from SoCal
A trip to The Netherlands to represent USA in the International Children’s Games resulted in gold medals for four beach volleyball high school players from Southern California.
Harper Goldfarb from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Victoria Ashkinos from Pasadena Mayfield, both of whom are sophomores, won the girls’ beach volleyball gold medal, going undefeated over two days.
Dane Johnson from Mira Costa and Luke Grafton from Loyola also brought home a gold medal in the boys’ competition. They battled back from a loss to Thailand in pool play.
