Track: Tarrik Brock is set to make his season debut in the sprints
- Share via
A year ago, Tarrik Brock of Crespi was the fastest freshman sprinter in California, running a 10.57 100 meters.
This coming week, he becomes eligible after transferring to Chaminade, and he’s scheduled to show off his speed in a dual meet against Harvard-Westlake. His mother, Kanika, is the new track coach at Chaminade.
Brock had been slowed by an injury, shutting him down during the summer.
But let the suspense build about how fast Brock might be able to run this spring.
“Who knows,” he said. “I’m fully recovered and plan on making it through this year. I’m way improved and stronger and faster.”
He’s also planning to play football for Chaminade in the fall.
