Softball: Former Vista Murrieta standout Sierra Romero is national player of the year

The USA Softball national player of the year is Sierra Romero from Michigan, a former Vista Murrieta standout.
A second baseman, Romero is batting .465 with 19 home runs and 78 RBIs.
She has won three Big Ten player of the year awards.
