If high school baseball coaches had a winter meeting, imagine the trade possibilities
- Share via
There are so many trades happening at the winter meeting for major-league baseball that it begs the question: What would happen if high school baseball coaches could have their own winter meeting and make trades?
“That would be a lot of fun,” Harvard-Westlake assistant coach PC Shaw said.
JSerra needs a setup man and has plenty of extra infielders to offer.
Mater Dei has several shortstops but could use a hard-hitting outfielder. Maybe the Monarchs will throw in an eighth-grader as a player to be named later.
Granada Hills Kennedy has two solid starting pitchers. Would the Golden Cougars trade one for a shortstop to replace Nick Rodriguez?
Chatsworth has so many pitchers that the Chancellors could dangle one for an outfielder.
Oh, what fun it would be. Someone call the CIF to make it happen.
