Granada Hills freshman Carol Cheng is the talk of City Section golf

If any of the teachers at Granada Hills High who play golf need some help, they might want to consult with 14-year-old freshman Carol Cheng.
She’s the talk of City Section girls’ golf. She keeps shooting par for nine holes in matches and has become one of the favorites to win the City individual title.
“She’s so steady,” Coach Steve Thompson said.
She recently made an eagle with a 40-foot chip shot on a par-5 at Hansen Dam.
