Girls’ cross country: Sarah Baxter is Gatorade state runner of the year

Oregon-bound Sarah Baxter of Simi Valley has been selected the Gatorade state runner of the year in girls’ cross country.
Baxter won her fourth consecutive state championship, winning the Division II race in 16:43. She was the national cross country runner of the year last season.
