Football: West Ranch adds to Foothill League intrigue
- Share via
It’s another week before play begins in the Foothill League, and this could be one of those seasons where all six teams have a chance to win in a given week.
Golden Valley, which hasn’t ever won a Foothill League game, has the best record in nonleague games at 4-1. And West Ranch came through with a 35-34 win over Oxnard last week behind quarterback Jackson Clark, who completed 27 of 42 passes for 407 yards passing and four touchdowns.
Hart (3-1) and Valencia (2-2) remain the favorites, but it’s going to be quite a weekly competition.
