Football: Ventura County quarterbacks are rolling up big numbers
Quick, somebody check the water in Ventura County. Maybe the quarterbacks in the area are drinking from the same water bottles, because the number of quality passers keeps rising.
Good luck to the Ventura County Star when it comes time to selecting one quarterback for its all-star team at the end of the season. There’s no way to do it.
Among those having great seasons are senior Max Gilliam of Thousand Oaks, senior Jake Constantine of Camarillo, senior Darius Vines of St. Bonaventure, sophomore Matt Corral of Oaks Christian, sophomore Cameron Rising of Newbury Park, junior Tristan Gebbia of Calabasas, senior Grant Bunker of Westlake, senior Tanner Darling of Simi Valley, junior Nick Juels of Grace Brethren, senior David Schmucker Oak Park and senior Zach Chulak of Viewpoint.
The depth is pretty extraordinary.
