Kurt Scoby, a senior running back who has attended six high schools since his freshman year, has been cleared to play for Monrovia this season, Coach Ryan Maddox said Friday.
Scoby last played for St. Paul last fall. He also previously played for Covina Charter Oak. He has attended Duarte, Cathedral and Alemany without playing football.
Scoby’s presence gives Monrovia a shot at winning a fourth consecutive Southern Section Mid Valley title.
