Football: QB Jonathan Porter passes for 330 yards in Arleta victory
It was a good season opener for senior quarterback Jonathan Porter of Arleta.
He completed 20 of 38 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions in a 21-20 victory over Eagle Rock.
It was the first game for new Coach Bill Coan.
Porter fired a game-winning 66-yard TD pass in the final two minutes to put Arleta ahead for good.
Michael Sorraco ran the ball well for Eagle Rock, gaining 102 yards rushing.
