Football: Norco’s Cory Young shows he’s one of the best in SoCal
In a game for second place in the Big VIII League, Norco turned to its outstanding senior running back, Cory Young, on Thursday night against Corona Santiago, and he responded with a career-best 421 yards rushing and four touchdowns in a 56-21 victory.
Young has rushed for 2,019 yards and 17 touchdowns. Norco finishes the regular season with a 7-3 record overall and 4-1 mark in league
The only totals better in school history are Toby Gerhart’s 462 yards against La Sierra, his 441 yards against Corona Centennial and 426 yards against Santiago.
