Football: Narbonne QB Roman Ale tops All-City team as player of the year

Quarterback Roman Ale of Narbonne has been selected the City Section Division I player of the year to lead the All-City team. He helped the Gauchos win the Division I title and Division I-A bowl game.
The offensive player of the year was receiver DeVaughn Cooper of Narbonne. The defensive player of the year was defensive end Derek Moore of Crenshaw. The offensive lineman of the year was Jesse Hernandez of Arleta. The defensive lineman of the year was junior Anthony Pandy of Narbonne.

The defensive lineman of the year was Ishaq Robinson of Bernstein. The offensive lineman of the year was Maurice Gardin of Fairfax.
In Division III, running back Erik Diaz of Belmont was selected the player of the year. The offensive player of the year was quarterback Jelani Myers of West Adams. The defensive player of the year was sophomore linebacker Halid Djibril of West Adams. The offensive lineman of the year was Donovan Gross of Manual Arts. The defensive lineman of the year was Taraz Welch of Hollywood.
