Football: Los Angeles is new power in City Section
- Share via
After winning the City Section Division III football title last season, Los Angeles High has its sights on winning Division II this season, and don’t doubt what second-year Coach Eric Scott might accomplish with the Romans.
They’re already making positive summer passing impressions behind returning quarterback Kaymen Cureton, who will be a junior.
Defensive lineman Martin Andrus, 6 feet 2, 255 pound, has five scholarship offers and growing.
Justin Rogers and Elijah Thompson are top returning skill-position players.
Junior iinebacker Anthony Parker is another returning standout.
Los Angeles is moving to the Coliseum League and will have to face the likes of Crenshaw and Dorsey, but Scott is looking forward to the challenge.
