Football: It’s redemption for Narbonne center Joe Teofilo
- Share via
Perhaps no Narbonne football player was happier at the conclusion of the City Section Division I championship game at the Coliseum than center Joe Teofilo.
In 2013, he was the player whose three center snaps on punts resulted in safeties that helped Crenshaw defeat Narbonne in the title game.
In this year’s title game, Teofilo blocked and snapped wonderfully in helping Narbonne defeat Carson, 33-20.
In an Instagram post, Teofilo wrote, “It took 365 days to deal with the despair of what happened last year. But through those long days we put blood, sweat and tears into getting here.”
