Football: Garfield’s Marquis Williams is Eastern League player of the year

Defensive back-receiver Marquis Williams of Garfield has been selected the Eastern League player of the year.
Quarterback Miguel Guerra of South Gate was the offensive player of the year. The offensive lineman of the year was Antonio Olivares of South Gate. The defensive player of the year was Tristen Chavarria of Garfield. The defensive lineman of the year was Carlos Nunez of Garfield.
