Football: Freshman QB Ryan Hilinski leaves JSerra for Orange Lutheran

Promising freshman quarterback Ryan Hilinski has left JSerra and transferred to Orange Lutheran.
Hilinski is the younger brother of former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame QB Kelly Hilinski, now at Weber State, and former Upland QB Tyler Hilinski, now at Washington State.
The 6-foot-3 Hilinski could benefit from a change in offensive philosophy.
Orange Lutheran is moving away from its option attack and will have more balance between passing and running, Coach Chuck Petersen said.
Petersen is close to naming a new offensive coordinator.
