Football: Four City Section coaches suspended from first game

Four City Section football coaches won’t be allowed to coach in the first regular-season game after missing a mandatory coaches’ meeting on Saturday. The punishment for missing the meeting is a one-game suspension.
There were no representatives at the meeting from Banning, Marshall, Ivy Academia and Maya Angelou. The head coaches at each school will have to serve a one-game suspension, City Section Commissioner John Aguirre said.
