Football: Dorsey has high hopes for Rayce Williams
- Share via
Ralph Caldwell is back as defensive coordinator at Dorsey, where one of his best players was Rahim Moore, a defensive back who started as a sophomore, went to UCLA and plays for the Denver Broncos.
Now Dorsey has another promising sophomore ready to take over as a safety in Rayce Williams, 6 feet 3, 195 pounds. Caldwell thinks Williams has lots of potential. Also, standout receiver David Williams will see action at safety.
As far as defensive backs in the City Section, Corey Walker of Crenshaw, Owen Russell of Sylmar, Tyrone Bouldin of Fairfax, Cean Tukes of San Pedro and Khalil Rashad-Brown of Narbonne should be among the standouts.
Kellen Ware of Palisades is moving from cornerback to safety and could be an impact player in the Western League.
