Football: Crespi’s Chris May has strategy for avoiding cramps

Resting on a bench on the Crespi sideline was a glass filled with Kosher pickles. Yes, Friday night begins Yom Kippur, but receiver-defensive back Chris May brought the pickles for another reason.
The juice supposely helps with avoiding cramps with its salt content.
There’s lots of Crespi players who don’t leave the field, and May is one of them. So he’ll be trying his remedy of eating pickles and drinking pickle juice on the sideline for Friday’s game against Loyola.
