Football: Chaffey’s Michael Dean is piling up rushing yards
At 5 feet 8, 165 pounds, Michael Dean of Chaffey doesn’t look like someone to fear on a football field.
But give him the ball and defensive coordinators suddenly have a nightmare scenario.
He leads the state in rushing with 1,415 yards and has scored 21 touchdowns for 5-0 Chaffey. He had 1,375 yards rushing as a junior.
A sprinter in track, he uses his speed to break off long runs.
He had 320 yards rushing against Lakeside, 336 yards against Bloomingon and 332 yards against Colton.
